Enjoyed a really interesting talk @ulstermuseum on Baldassare Peruzzi’s The Nativity which also took in Turner and my favourite Pieter Brueghel the Younger’s Winter as part of the museum’s Slow Sundays. I love to be talked through an artwork by an expert, wish I lived closer to enjoy it every month! I have had the loveliest frosty day, back at the Castle on the Hill. This will be the third year that I have filled my car with donated greenery and trundled through the country lanes to deck the halls at beautiful Framlingham Castle. @louhcook and I put on the festive tunes and our thermals and spent a happy couple of hours decorating, it was really magical. If you’re nearby and fancy a fun and Christmassy day out, the castle will be open to visitors this Saturday with some fun activities on offer for children and adults. English Heritage is a charity that helps preserve some of our most iconic heritage sites and without visitors and donations, places like Framlingham would struggle to survive.
