Free Spirits greeting card
£2.50
Free Spirits is one of my folk art papercut designs with an intricate pattern of horses and intertwined leaves and branches.
The original design was handcut in paper using very fine black rice paper and is a delicate and intricate papercut, slightly smaller than A4.
It is based on the traditional papercuts made for fun by well to do society ladies in the 18th and 19th Centuries, such as Ipswich based poet and papercutter Elizabeth Occold.
The card is a reproduction of the original.
The design is printed onto soft matt card which gives it only a very slight sheen and comes with a white envelope.
The card is blank, with space inside for your own greeting.
Dimensions: 6x4 inches.
