Broken vintage jewellery finds a new life in my small bell jar sculptures.
Sapphire Blue Star Hares features my hand-cut and embossed metal foil shapes, given added sparkle with a stunning vintage 50s/60s diamanté star brooch.Swarovski blue crystals adorn the smaller foil stars which frame the boxing hares, caught in a magical dance.
Each bell jar sculpture is unique and my aim is to capture a little bit of magic within these sweet sparkly domes.
Much of my work is inspired by folk tales, magic, vintage miniatures and of course the nature and countryside around my Suffolk home.
These domes have a cork base and are approx 10.5cms high with a base diameter of 6.5cms. Put them on a bookshelf or shelf where they can catch the light, ideally at eye level so you can appreciate the tiny details.
