Vintage bottle Gold Hare and Bird Tree
NIce little old Edwardian bottle with a slight gold tint to the glass thanks to its former contents. That colouration makes it a good backdrop for the delicate design of a hair and a bird underneath the willowy arms of a star tree.
This one was dug up in Suffolk and has some fine scratches and marks on the glass but no chips or dents, which is what you’d expect from a few decades underground. It has screw top threads which I have covered with a neat little embossed gold foil collar.
I’d use this as a decoration or to display some thin flower stems - Dried Lavender or Craspedia would be perfect!
All my bottles are decorated with handcut designs, cut using a tiny scalpel blade.
Dimensions: 9cms by 3.5cms.
Like all my foiled bottles this one cannot be washed; just blow off any dust or wipe glass gently with a dampened cloth, avoiding the foil design.
